Hello,
I am an English socially engaged artist, educator and writer who lived with my family in Kaneyama-machi, Oku-Aizu, Fukushima-ken from March 2009 to August 30th 2011, before self-evacuating to Kansai.

I have drawn collaborative portraits of Japanese and UK people with an experience of homelessness over the last 12 years. I contribute to books on education, poverty, fathers, separation and the family, and designed and illustrated Thinking Through School, which won the UK Educational Resources Association Book Of The Year prize. I am author of Separated Families Matter, a UK government funded web resource for professionals.
